Steering Tech: Strut Tower Mod for More Angle
This strut tower mod will provide additional Caster and Camber Angle for 79-04 Mustangs. This mod is needed in order to align and use the extended drift arms to their fullest potential.
First, the holes in the strut tower have to be opened, using templates for the 79 to 89, 90 to 93, and 94 to 04.
After you have filed down the edges, prepped and painted the tower, the next step is to address the under-side. The support wall will need to be clearanced and reattached to make room for moving the coil over spring outward an forward to work with the extended drift arms.
