Edward Thompson moving up in 2017

Following a successful 2016 season finishing 2nd place overall in the Intermediate Category of the PR Pro Drift series, Edward looks to continue his success into the Pro Category. Last year he secured the second spot in points after placing 2nd at 3 events and 3rd in another event and is ready to step it up for 2017. "I will be competing in the Pro category this year as I now have a cage and can legally compete in tandems" Edward announced in the off season. The Pro category is a ProAm series and the top 3 drivers of the year are awarded FD2 licenses. Edward previously held an FD2 license for 2015, and is shooting for another one for 2018. Edward is a fan favorite, and he and his "Green Monster" 1997 Ford Mustang GT are well known throughout the Puerto Rican islands.
